What you need to know about getting a website made, working together and looking after it.

14 answers

01Who do you build websites for?

Sole traders and small businesses: builders, plumbers, cleaners, dog walkers and other independent businesses that need a professional online presence. We start with what your customers need to know.

02Do I need to be based in East Anglia?

No. We’re based in Norfolk and enjoy working with our local community, but businesses from elsewhere are welcome. We can plan the project and keep in touch remotely.

03Can you improve my existing website?

Yes. We start by looking at the current website and your goals, then agree whether a refresh or a rebuild makes sense. Access to your domain, hosting and existing site helps us understand the options.

04What will you need from me?

Your business information, services, service area and any existing branding are a useful start. We’ll agree who supplies or prepares the text and images, and flag any missing content before launch.

05How long will the project take?

The timescale depends on the number of pages, functionality and how ready the content is. We agree a schedule after discussing the scope, including time for your feedback.

06Can we talk before I commit?

Yes. The first conversation is a chance to understand what you need. A proposal sets out the scope and arrangements so you can decide whether to go ahead.

07Will my website work on phones and tablets?

Responsive layouts are part of the build. Navigation, text, imagery and key interactions are checked at phone, tablet and desktop sizes.

08Will I get to review the website before launch?

Yes. You review the visual direction and the working website. We agree feedback and revisions as part of the project and check the content and key journeys before launch.

09Can you guarantee a top Google ranking?

No. We build search-friendly foundations, but rankings depend on competition, content and many other factors. We can explain which website foundations apply to your project.

10What happens after launch?

We agree the handover, hosting responsibilities and any ongoing care before launch. Maintenance, content updates and backup arrangements depend on the support you choose.

11Are these real client projects?

Our Work includes an approved screenshot showcase of the private East Coast Facilities Management client website. The other examples are original design concepts for fictional businesses, with no client results claimed.

12Will I own my website?

Ownership, access, content rights and handover arrangements are explained in your proposal before work begins. We talk through what you need to manage your website and how a future move would work.

13Do you provide hosting and business email?

Yes. Managed website hosting includes one business email mailbox. Additional mailboxes may be available. Provider, renewal and management arrangements are agreed for your project.

14How do I enquire?

Use the optional guide to prepare your project brief, or email [email protected] directly. While automatic form delivery is being set up, you can save the brief and attach it to your email.
